Collection: Julien Colombier

Julien Colombier is a French contemporary artist born in 1972 in Paris. A self-taught painter, using mainly acrylic and oil pastels, he creates imaginary landscapes and oversized still lifes, which seem to float in space, often in soft and soothing tones using the acrylic and oil pastels he loves so much.
Julien Colombier's art is influenced by nature, travel, traditional cultures and geometry. The elements of his works are often simplified and stylized, creating a balance between abstraction and representation.
The artist is considered one of the most promising of his generation, thanks to his talent for creating immersive and poetic works that transport the viewer into a world of dreams and fantasy.
Colombier, to whom we already owe the scenographies of certain Chanel, Cartier and Saut Hermès shows, produced three concurrent exhibitions during the summer of 2023: at the Mandet Museum with "Motif Central", at the Hangar 107 in Rouen with "Ikebana" and at the Abbaye de Maubuisson with "Electric ladyland".
He also created a huge 20-metre-high mural, the only one by the artist in Paris, opposite the Galerie Bessaud.
