Arnaud Liard

Arnaud Liard is a French visual artist, born in 1975. He lives and works in Paris.
Having trained as a sign painter, he cut his teeth on the Parisian graffiti scene of the 90s. He quickly broke away from it to begin his studio work, which led him to explore what he would later call "the aesthetics of Chaos".
Whether it's the random aesthetic of destruction, the deconstructed architectural landscapes, or the patched-up asphalt sidewalks and the textures of old, wrinkled walls that populate our cities, it feeds on the smallest as well as the largest imperfections of its surroundings.
