About

Founded by Arthur Bessaud, Galerie Bessaud is a contemporary art gallery that aims to be eclectic, open and educational, located just off Place de la Bastille, at 24bis rue de Charenton, Paris.
We collaborate with many emerging artists from France and around the world through group exhibitions, with an emphasis on the multiplicity of mediums (painting, ceramics, crafts and multimedia), diversity and inclusiveness in curation (gender parity among exhibited artists, audio guides for the visually impaired, etc.), as well as pedagogy (production of numerous explanatory media: booklets, video documentaries, etc.).
Éditions Bessaud is an extension of the Gallery's objective, to allow collectors and art enthusiasts to continually make new discoveries, both of young emerging French artists and international artists with more established careers, all within surprising and positive exhibitions.
