Collection: Damien Mauro aka Goddog

Born in 1983, Damien Mauro, aka Goddog, is a self-taught artist from the world of urban and graphic arts, originally from Châlons-en-Champagne.

As a teenager, he explored the urban environment and expressed himself through graffiti. A self-taught creator, his passions for architecture, nature, and literature, along with his enthusiasm for sharing, continually nourish and enrich his art—an art shaped by movement and a daily life rooted in encounters.

For over 15 years, the artist has devoted himself to painting through abstraction. His work revolves around the themes of connection and fracture, fostering a direct interaction with the public. His mixed-media technique and precise control of his gestures allow him to craft pieces with intricate textures, enhancing visual effects and giving form to certain figurative elements. His world is dreamlike, inviting both inner calm and engagement.

He is regularly exhibited at Le Réservoir, a contemporary art center in Sète. His mural work spans the globe, with monumental frescoes found as far as Portugal, Ukraine, and Cambodia.
