Bastille Art Prize

The Bastille Art Prize is an artistic prize organized by the Galerie Bessaud. Open to artists from all over the world, it aims to reveal and promote talented yet unknown artists of the international contemporary scene. The prize is open to artists of all disciplines, including drawing, engraving, installation, painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media and decorative arts. (textile and materials, glass, wood, metal, ceramic, mosaic, paper or any other technique).

Aware of the central place that art occupies today within all sectors of society, and of the importance for artists to confront their work to plural perspectives, the Bastille Art Prize strives to reflect this diversity through the composition of its jury. This one gathers professionals of art and culture, but also representatives of the sectors of industry, of luxury and of architecture. The work of each candidate is thus subject to the evaluation of a jury composed of twelve professionals from the sector, ensuring a cross-cutting and demanding approach to contemporary practices.
