Collection: Bulle Derouette

Bulle Derouette is a multidisciplinary artist where painting, photography, drawing and ceramics dialogue in a shared energy.

As part of the group show HAD TO DO IT, the artist created "Lobules 286", an installation composed of 286 ceramic breasts.

The title refers to the lobules, small internal glands in the breast that produce milk, but which can also be the site of cancers. The number 286 corresponds to the exact number of shapes present on this wall.

By arranging them like holds on a climbing wall, the artist evokes the stages of life: puberty, desire, breastfeeding, illness, aging. Each breast becomes a foothold, a memory.

The collection offers a reflection on the female body, far from aesthetic clichés and social censorship.
